run a command line with parameter

Hi
0
There's any way to pass a parameter to cxrun in the command line . ( the name of the exe )

Example:

"/opt/cxoffice/bin/cxrun /home/user/program/program.exe"

Thanks.

use

$ /opt/cxoffice/bin/wine --cx-app appname.exe

this command assumes that the appname.exe file of the program you want to launch is in your default bottle. If the program is not in your default bottle, use

$ CX_BOTTLE="bottlename" /opt/cxoffice/bin/wine --cx-app appname.exe

Hi,

The .exe is not inside the .cxoffice directory. So, when i try to use: /opt/cxoffice/bin/wine --cx-app /path/appname.exe i get an error.

Thanks

Did you try specifying a bottle at the beginning of the command string?

When i try to execute: /opt/cxoffice/bin/wine --cx-app /home/user/name/appname.exe" or specifying a bottle at the beginnig i have the same error: "appname is not in .cxoffice/win98/drive_c". It is looking for appname.exe inside cxoffice folder, not the path i specify.

I think a better command line would be /opt/cxoffice/bin/wine /home/user/name/appname.exe (this will use the default bottle, or use --bottle to change it). using --cx-app sends it looking for an already installed app (in the case of your command line, in the default bottle).
