Hi,
IE 7 installed in CXO 8, but it doesn't seem to work quite right. Can't install flash player update, some sites just don't work at all when compared to a real winXP machine (for example, it can't go to http://beta.sling.com at all), other sites don't work properly (espn360.com is unresponsive when you try to watch anything, it never even gets to the page where it tries to install the add-on).
Did something go wrong during my install, or is it not supposed to be fully functional?
We are only just adding support for IE7, many of the components necessary to run IE7 on a native box are not yet present in CrossOver. Add-ons is definitely one of the things that needs work, not to mention additional Flash Player support.
For now, you are seeing the functionality we expect, this is why IE7 is rated bronze. But, we have serious plans to continue to develop the needed components and get IE7 to a much higher level of functionality.
