World of Warcraft Battlechest

Running Linux Ubunto 32 bit. I recently got the Crossover Games Demo for that version and will gladly pay the money right now to Crossover Games if I can get this to work. I just recently started using Linux because this server motherboard with a lot of cool stuff on it cannot be configured for Windows. Please help me with World of Warcraft Battlechest it says It can't switch to temporary folder. Reminder I am used to GUI systems not command line driven ones, don't make me have to dust off my programming books, "again". Not sure what is important and they say not to print whole file but will gladly email it to anyone who says they can help. Just an old gamer wanting to get into WoW for the first time.

what exactly are you installing from?
what distro of linux are you using?
and have you been to http://www.codeweavers.com/compatibility/browse/name/?app_id=4997;tips=1

i used this for the dvd install

insert WotLK DVD

open terminal

sudo umount /media/Lich\ King/ # fedora will mount the DVD here. Unmount it so we can mount it properly:
sudo mkdir /media/LichKing/ # could've probably used "Lich\ King/" there, but I dont like spaces :P
sudo mount /dev/dvd /media/LichKing/ -o unhide
mkdir /tmp/wow-wotlk # or wherever you'd like to put it... perhaps somewhere more permanent?
sudo cp -r /media/LichKing/ /tmp/wow-wotlk/
sudo chown -R soapster:soapster /tmp/wow-wotlk # replace soapster with your username
/optcxgames --bottle xp --wine--app /tmp/wow-wotlk/LichKing/Installer.exe or just go to /tmp/wow-wotlk/LichKing/Installer.exe with the crossover installer

alternate install

use brazero to copy to an iso then

open terminal

mkdir ./mnt
sudo mount -o unhide,loop ./wotlk.iso ./mnt
mkdir wotlk
sudo cp -r ./mnt ./wotlk
sudo chown -R dablackfox:dablackfox ./wotlk # replace soapster with your username
then run the installer
