Hi,

These USB headphones you have...what exactly do you mean?

Cheers!

They are creative USB gaming headset, they don't require a sound card.

Cheers

...haha, sorry...my fault...when I said 'exactly', I meant the exact
Creative model number :) Get back to me with it, I'll check for you
what might be going on..

Cheers!

Hi Mate,

They are HS-950 Gaming Headset

Thanks

Hi,

I take it this headset is working fine in linux normally
speaking?.....ie; it works in your desktop environment but
not in COG?...if that's so, I can think of a number of
reasons it might not be working in crossover...but I'd need
more particulars to narrow it down.

Cat you post the output of the following command ;

cat /proc/asound/cards

You should get output in a xterm/konsole which looks like;

0 [Live ]: EMU10K1 - SB Live! 5.1
SB Live! 5.1 (rev.7, serial:0x80641102) at 0xdc00, irq 19
1 [CK804 ]: NFORCE - NVidia CK804
NVidia CK804 with ALC655 at irq 21

If you can post that info back, I'll have more of an idea of your alsa setup.

Cheers!
