OK - I saw the message asking about CX games and CX 8.0, but I wanted to make sure that it is the same in my situation:
I have 7.1.0 Pro installed and working right now - there are a few things I'd like to try out before I commit to 8.0 (why fix something that ain't broke).
If I run the install for CX8 and point it to a different directory will it attempt to upgrade the 7.x install?

Alternately, you could remove your current Crossover 7.1 build, and move your bottles directory aside (i.e. temporarily rename your ~/.cxoffice directory). Then install CX 8.0, and install any programs you need to test. If you like CX 8.0, you can move the bottle folders from your renamed ~/.cxoffice directory into the new ~/.cxoffice. If you don't, you can remove 8.0, reinstall 7.1, and then move your old ~/.cxoffice back in place and all will return to normal.
