Warcraft (wow) install problems in CX Office pro 8

I am attempting to install WoW on my system with out much success. The following is my system config.

Dell Inspiron 517 BIOS ver 1.0.6
AMD Phenom quad-core 2207 MHz
4G ram
500G SATA-2
nVidia GeForce 8400 GS (driver ver 185.18.36 installed via YaST)
WINE ver 1.1.9 (installed via YaST)
OS open SUSE 11.1 64-bit (all current patches applied)

I purchased and installed Crossover Office Pro 8 as it had Crossover games as well.

Prior to attempting to install WoW, I went to the following page for any known issues/resolutions.

http://www.codeweavers.com/compatibility/browse/name/?app_id=1185;tips=1

After following the guidelines listed, WoW still fails to install. I did notice there is not a cxgames directory, so I changed it to cxoffice in the commands listed above.

When attempting to load using the install software, I select Unsupported Software and the install process takes less than 30 seconds. When I attempt to run from the command line I receive

wine: could not load L"D:\Installer.exe": Module not found

However with the DVD mounted with unhide, all the files are visible.

When attempting to install by right clicking on Installer.exe and telling it to Install With Crossover, I receive the following

I have attempted to install into XP, 2K and Vista bottles with no success.

I know I am missing something, just not sure exactly what.

I had no problems installing IE 7 which works flawlessly. So I know the CX install is working.

Any assistamce would be appreciated.

I think your problem may be the fact that you're installing WoW with Crossover Pro. The Crossover Pro package includes access to CX Games, but these are still two separate products. You'll need to download CX Games from your My Account>My Downloads section and install it on your machine. (Note that CX Games is always downloaded as a demo - you can register it using your email address and password). Mount and then re-mount the DVD using the "unhide" command described in the tips and tricks:

http://www.codeweavers.com/compatibility/browse/name/?app_id=1185;tips=1

and then try to install by selecting WoW from Crossover Games' Install Software menu, proceeding with a newly created bottle.

After installing CX Games and following the tips and tricks for the second night in a row, I decided to do the following.

I copied all the files from the DVD to my local drive and chmod -R 755 TBC3.0.1 t(he Wow directory).

As of right now, it appears to be installing. Will let you know how it goes when I am done installing LTK and try to add all the patches.

Update as promised.

Installing from the hard drive worked just fine, and all is operating. The only problem I had was no sound after all the patches were added. A reboot resolved that problem.
