Need help installing as a user.

Hi, if someone could tell me how to install crossover as a user instead of as root.
I have uninstalled the whole thing and as Jack recommended deleted the /opt/cxoffice folder, but yet every time i want to re-install it, it doesn't ask me where to install it and I have to enter my pass every time. How can I make it run as a user instead of root?
I was waiting on a reply from Jack, but he may be away for the week end, so I come here to ask you guys since most of you have probably installed it as a user and not root like me.
Thx for the help in advance,

Best regards,

R.G.
