Many are mentioning office 365 works. I got it installed with the default windows 7 bottle, but windows 7 is not supported anymore and that also means office activation won't work etc.
So does someone have office365 on e.g. windows 10 bottle. If so is it possible to share installation/configuration settings of this for I get a black screen after the splash screen. This black screen is actually the screen with the download loader. In kquard I can see that the setup is consuming download data and then a osetup starting but then nothing.
I've kubuntu 20.04 installed and run the setup downloaded from my office account (accessed on a windows 10 virtual machine)
I don't know if this can actually help. I have office 2016 installed activated and working through crossover 20. My bottle is windows 7 32 bit I have installed core fonts and xml 6 sp2. The office suite works and I have activated it through crossover. Try to use this command maybe can help /opt/cxoffice/bin/cxfix --auto .
Okay I got it activated, don't know why yet. It is a wee bit slow though with some black glitches when switching outlook folders. But I'll leave out of this post and dig into that first.
I don't know what graphic card you have but a few of the programs i test does something like this.
