Can't make a new bottle / install packages.

Hey! I'm new to Crossover, and was trying to run an .EXE file. I'm running Ubuntu 16.04, and when making a new bottle, it says I need some packages to run Windows apps. After clicking "yes", it "installs" the packages. Or it would if it wasn't for the infinite loading screen. It says
"Authentication is needed to run /usr/bin/gdb' as the super user
Authenticating as: itdagolden
Password:"
It seems it needs my password, but I can't type anything in there. Please help since I'm pretty much stuck here. Thanks!

Hi there,

I'm not sure why you're running into this problem as we don't actively test ubuntu 16.04 anymore, but one solution it is to run ./cxfix --auto manually, following these instructions: https://www.codeweavers.com/support/wiki/diag

Best,
Meredith
