Auto-Analyzing One's PC For CrossOver Spec Requirements

Greetings!
This is very elementary and VERY helpful!:

CrossOver Linux 15 System Requirements

x86 compatible PC system
Tested on the current release of:
    Ubuntu
    Mint
    Fedora
    Debian
    Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)

CrossOver should also work on any distribution of Linux that meets the other requirements listed on this page. However, we do not guarantee that we will be able to test and therefore provide quality support for any other distribution.
python >= 2.6
gtk2 >= 2.24
python-gtk2 >= 2.24
X.org with XRender and GLX support
200 MB of free disk space and space for installed applications

I'd write such if I could, but what would truly help a Linux newbie into tasting CrossOver would be a script (detached or embedded here) that could analyse and print out in plain non-techie whether one's machine is up to these specs to support CrossOver than force (and disaffect) them to be command-line programmers to find out. I wish to give newbies the notion that right off the bat CrossOver is as user-friendly as possible.

Keep up the great work!

Or they could download the trial version which gives them 14 days to evaluate the software. Just sayin'...

Or they could read this:

https://www.codeweavers.com/products/crossover-linux/requirements (which is sort of easy to find)

or, along with the trial, they could use the cxdiag tool which is in Crossover bin folder and pretty much know whatever is missing right off the bat. Of course, a GUI to that script might be nice, but at this time Crossover is pretty good at getting missing libraries through the package manager of a distro.

You know, just sayin'... 😈
