I'm trying to register a "wineasio.dll.so" in my CrossOver installation to use the WineASIO audio-driver in my software.
In Debian and with Wine, I would usually just copy the dll.so into /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/wine/ and then execute wine64 regsvr32 wineasio.dll Which outputs "regsvr32: Successfully registered DLL 'wineasio.dll'" and I can select it as the driver in my software.
Unfortunately, I haven't been able to replicate this in CrossOver so far. I can't even seem to find the right directory where the dll.so has to be placed, let alone how to properly register it. I just copied it to a bunch of locations and tried a couple of commands from the bottle's UI - "Run command..", however I never got any response and I can't select the driver, either.
What do I have to do in order to register it with CrossOver?
I think your .dll files will go into manually, in /home/some_user/.cxoffice/your_bottle/drive_c/windwows/system32 but i don't know the file you're moving.
