Office 365 "There is no Windows program configured to open this type of file".
I'm attempting to install a downloaded .exe of Office 365 into a Crossover Windows 8 bottle (the error also happened with a Windows 7-64 bottle).
I managed to use the Firefox trick to download the .exe file.
Setup.X86.en-US_O365HomePremRetail_03c3634d-4117-4cac-a89a-718ac69d4656_TX_PR_.exe
- I created a Windows 8 bottle and started the install.
- I selected "Use installer file"
- I selected the existing bottle.
- I began the install.
IMPORTANT: The .exe must have run, because I get an "Installing Office 365" screen pop-up.
- BUT THEN, I get the error...
"There is no Windows program configured to open this type of file"
And the install fails out.

This sounds like a bug which is fixed in our upcoming CrossOver 17 release.
Awesome. Do you know when that release is coming out?
