Quicken 2017 - Page fault on Account Updates

Been using Quicken 2017 for months, Quicken just applied a self update (R10) which reported success. Quicken seems to run fine until I try to use "Update now" (download transactions) once I enter the Vault Password and click [OK] I get the exception below. Happens with any account I try. Happens after computer restarted. I can reproduce this every time.

Unhandled exception: page fault on write access to 0x00000000 in 32-bit code (0x10013eae).

Two things first, I think we might be in the wrong forum, but I will still try to explain what I have done.

One my Quicken 2017 says that I have the latest version so no updates are available. Yet I am showing Quicken 2017 at R1, build 26.1.1.12.

I am running LinuxMint 18.2.

Now when I go on the bank site and ask to download, it will download in the temp folder in the sub-folder mozilla_"myname0" .

In the meantime it ask me to turn off current file and I indicate no. If I indicate yes it stops Quicken and nothing else happens until I restart the program.

Then once reopened nothing happens, so I go in the File menu, click on File Import which opens the sub-menu and there I click on "Web Connect (.QFX) File... and the whole file is then imported as it used to do before those updates and works like it always did.

Up until somebody comes up with a better solution, that is the way I get around the problem and it does the reconciliation and all the other tasks.

I have just about the same problem on Ubuntu Linux 16.0.4 Crossover 16.2.0-1. There is an error with rundll32.exe and then with qw.exe. It happens anytime I attempt to use the "Onestep Update" function.

I tried the work around of downloading the file (.QFX) from my bank and then using >File>Import>Quicken .QFX File to import it but I get the same rundll32.exe failure. This means Quicken is totally useless. Codeweavers!!! Please fix ASAP!!!!

This has a resolution in CrossOver 17 beta 3, which is in our beta center now. It requires setting some registry keys or performing a reinstall, but the beta will let Quicken run. I will forward a couple of the above posts to our support team for access to the beta for anyone who is not in our beta program already. Otherwise, this should be resolve in the upcoming CrossOver 17.

Getting this same message in Quicken 2016 after upgrade to patch 13.

On Crossover 16.2.5. Am I going to have to repurchase Crossover 17 to get Quicken to work? Not sure when my support runs out.
