Crossover and newer glib (user threads)

Hello there,

after fiddling a lot, I got Loksim3D running directly under wine, but not under crossover. It seems to be related with newer versions of glib (newer than 2.32). Is there any way to give crossover the older lib without downgrading the hole system? Had similar issues with other programs, Loksim is only one of them.

My trick now is:

old glib, + python, + pygtk (and dependencies) into /opt/glib-old. Wine built against these tools and libs. Only menubuilder doesnt run, maybe, I have to install xml-libs as well into my "old" toolchain. In my opinion, that's a quick and dirty "fix", I would like to have a nicer way. Any suggestions?

greets from Berlin

Sven
