I'm seeing some errors when ever I try to install software on published bottles (both with regular published bottles and bottles installed as RPM packages). I get errors from cxmenu:
cxmenu:error: cannot operate on the 'xxx' stub bottle (missing --scope option?)
This happens when I try to install MS Office 2010 for example, but only on published bottles. If I install in a private bottle it works fine. The software does get installed. I can launch the Office applications from the command line, but they icons are not avaiable in the Crossover GUI.
I've tried a few different approaches to installing. First with cxrun (where I thought the error came from the fact that you can't specify scope), but also with wine specifying the scope. E.g:
Never mind, just found out that published bottles can't be modified, I'm guessing that's the cause. Though odd that I'm able to install things in it...?
