Expired bottle even with the "fixed" 20.0.4 version

Hello,

I have a bottle with Office 2010 that was created a long time ago (somewhere around 2010) ; upto the version 20.x of CrossOver it worked perfectly fine.
Starting from version 20.0.0, when using this specific bottle, I receive systematically warnings that the CrossOver version is a demo one and it needs to be reactivated - and after the "reactivation" I can launch Excel, for example; but on the next launch I get the same nagging.
I saw that there was an attempt to fix the expired bottles issue (20.0.4), but in my case the fix is ineffective.
I have opened a support ticket in January (1286837) but I have got no answer, despite having provided a lot of information and having posted several messages.
Today reactivating does not even work as the bottle is marked as "expired".

Are you, guys, too busy to respond to a paying customer ?
Why am I bothering to pay my license if I am completely ignored ?

Best regards,
Marian

Hello,

To follow up on this issue - the support teams has responded to my call.
The solution is simple - altough weird: the Z drive of the bottle needs to be mapped on the root / .
On my bottle the Z drive was mapped on something else since a long time ago.
It seems that a development choice was made with CrossOver 20.x to use the Z drive in order to read the license information from the /opt/cxoffice folder - for me this choice is really weird, but at least now we know why the bottles "expire".
As soon as I remapped Z on / the bottle started behaving again.
I hope this info will help others in need.

@CodeWeavers: maybe in a future version you get rid of this kind of weird constraints ...

Best regards,
Marian
