Questions regarding publishing bottles

I plan to use Crossover to share a Office installation between the users of the computer.

Testing the program I see I have to create a Private bottle and after that click in Publish. Seems I have to choose a different name in order to don't create conflicts between both directories. What seems weird is that after publishing the bottle, the private one keeps created and have to be manually deleted.

Is this the intended process? Or the private bottle keeps created for any reason I am not understanding?

I always took it as a safety mechanism. You still have the old that you can archive or revert to if things went sour. Perhaps we are both missing the point. But either way, thats how I took it back when I still used that feature.
