We have Sims3 installed on a few computers running Ubuntu and newest version of Crossover. It launches (but really slowly) on one of the previously installed computers. On the latest installation, it launches the startpage where you can press the big start button. When we hit this, the computer tries to launch the game, but fails. It seems like it tries to adjust screen resolution or something, so I guess there is a GLX/graphics issue or similar. The computer is a HP Compaq NC6400. Any hints ?
Try opening up terminal and typing
/opt/cxoffice/bin/cxdiag or /home/(yourusername)/cxoffice/bin/cxdiag
Then post that output on here.
