I have Word 2010 installed happily in CW, using our campus-licensed Microsoft DVD. This has a license key written on it, but at no point during the installation did either CW or M$ ask me for the license key.
Now that a month is up, it's asking for a license key, but there is nowhere to put it: no menu or pop-up.
Word 2010 is the only piece of M$ software I have installed. Do I need to install other stuff, in order for CW to be able to pop up a license key entry panel or something?
Excellent, thanks very much. The link is actually "Change Product Key", and it works but it's as slow as a snail on Valium.
I entered the license key, and it then asked what kind of installation I wanted, which is wongly-worded, because I already have Word installed. I picked Custom, and it asked for my name and initials (correctly pre-populated) and organisation, which is fine. Then it pops up a window called "Configuration Progress" in which the slider goes immediately to about 40% and stays there for 5-6 minutes, and then completes.
So despite appearances it does actually work! Yay! Now I can recommend Codeweavers Wine to our Linux/Mac user base...
