64-bit Linux and Crossover 12.5

I'm using a 64-bit Linux based on Ubuntu and after installing Crossover 12.5 from the ia32-crossover_12.5.0-1_amd64.deb

I don't see any menu for crossover in my applications list.

I do see it installed in Software Manager in the OS.

UPDATE: menus showed up after two restarts for some reason on kernal 3.8.0.27. Strange? Never happened to me before: not even one install required for the last release candidate for menus to show up; but that was on 32-bit system?

I've seen the "no menu' thing, but only on a Cx beta test ..

the fix, was to 'log out/ log in' & that usually got the missing menu(s) to appear.

  • this was on 32bit, tho.
