Internet access on crossover

Quick question i have satellite Internet (Dishnet) with a 15 Gb download limit but some of my software updates automatically is there anyway to keep crossover from accessing the Internet or do i need to do this from apparmor? I'm using Ubuntu 16.04LTS.

I don't know of anything within Crossover that would block off ports or internet access altogether. I'm pretty sure this would be solved at an OS level.

If you're concerned only about CrossOver itself, you can use CrossOver's preference to make sure it does not a.) check for crosstie updates; not b.) report usage statistics.

If you are concerned about the Windows applications which you are running with CrossOver, then no, we don't have a setting to prevent that.

I was hoping it had something to block software updates. 15gb isn't alot of bandwith when your always downloading updates. I can use app armor to stop access.

Thank you
