Even though I paid for the program, Crossover 11, when I try to run a Windows program installed via Crossover (an earlier version, 7), I get a message about it being a trial version with options to Buy or Register. I click on Register and it says that it is registered to me. There are no further options to run the program. I can only close the message and that's it. The Windows program does not appear and I cannot get anything to work.

David,
I'm sorry you are having this problem. CrossOver 11.02 does have some problems with older bottles and registration.
All of the known configurations are fixed in CrossOver 11.1, which is presently available for download. (If your support extension has expired and you would otherwise be unable to download 11.1 without purchasing it, please let me know and I will fix that - registration bugs like that are unacceptable and you won't have to pay to get an update to fix that particular problem, even if your contract is expired).
If 11.1 for some reason does not fix the problem for you, it appears we have a new situation and we will need to address that. (However, I have not yet run across a bottle with bugs that persist in 11.1.)
some errors also effects the software so if such problem happens then must reinstall the program
