I have Crossover Office version 5.0.1. I would like to install .Net Framework 2.0, but it hangs during installing the assembly Microsoft.VisualBasic.Vsa.dll (see screenshot). What can I do to complete the installation? My system is Debian Squeeze, with i686 kernel.

it would be a fair guess to say that Net Framework 2.0 is simply too new <recent> for CX5.0 to use properly.
the downside, is that you may have to BUY that later Cx version. .. ..
Sure, I can give it a try - download a trial version and install the net framework. Thanks for the hint.
