What happens when the 12 months are up?
CrossOver XI Linux
12 months of email support & upgrades

I'm not sure what to make of this description, does this mean only official help support is dropped but you still get to obtain updates?

Also do you still get to use the version you bought when the time is up?

You will get both official support and also upgrades during the 12 months. After that, your support contract will have expired and you will no longer be entitled to new upgrades, but you can continue using the version you bought indefinitely.

Thanks for replying. Do you know if it would be possible to reinstall after that period is up? By keeping the older installer around. I tend to reinstall and try other distros.

Yes. The versions of CrossOver released before your support expires are yours forever. You will not lose the ability to download, install, and register those versions when support expires.
