Creating a launcher with command line options

I have been using CrossOver for a number of years and the basic launchers created during an install of an application in
a new bottle work fine. I now have a need to create a new launcher that adds command line parameters to those in the
stock launchers.

I have tried using the "Run Command..." by selecting the desired executable in the selected bottle and get the quoted string.

If I add the command line parameters after the executable in the quoted string, when running it complains that there is no
suitably configured launcher. Adding the command line parameter after the quoted string seem to be ignored. It runs as
the stock launcher.

I have even tried creating a Windows batch file that contains the executable with the command line parameters and target
that using "Run Command..." and it still seems to not accept the additional parameters and runs in its default state.

I have read the documentation and tried to use the cxoffice command, but all I get is a black screen and upon exiting, my
desktop is set to 640x480 on a 1920x1080 monitor which is really annoying and have to reset it.

Hopefully, I am missing something really basic here...

Does this help?

/opt/cxoffice/bin/wine --bottle "bottlename" --cx-app appname.exe

Andrew,

Your version of the command line worked a treat. I added a KDE menu item using the template you provided
changing the appropriate items. I added a working path for the KDE menu item into the Crossover directory containing the bottle
and all was sweet.

Thanks Mate!
