Crossover Linux on Manjaro: "-- is an unrecognized command" when activating

Hello everybody

I installed Crossover from the aur repo but when I try to activate it, it fails with the error "-- is an unrecognized command". Any idea on how to fix it?

Thanks

This is the wrong way of installing on Manjaro - and Arch for that matter.

The reason for your error is because the AUR installation is done to /opt/. You will get write/execution and maybe other errors when trying to register.

The best method of installation is use the generic installer.

This wiki post on Manjaro forum describes how.
