I just hit a couple of snags during the install of Quicken 2017. Don't remember the exact verbiage, but apparently some of the redirect links for some windows components do not work any more. In my case there were two of them:
vcredist_x86.exe
WindowsXP-KB975337-x86-ENU.exe
I was able to complete the installation by downloading the first from the here, Microsoft website.
The second one I got from this site, which was the first place I found during a search. Unfortunately, I could not find it anywhere in Microsoft.
The installation completed okay and I did some preliminary testing and was able to read my data and download transactions, but I hope this is not a trend with Microsoft, making things difficult for us. I hope that the Crossover folks will take a look into this.
