Has anyone gotten this game to work on Steam?

Here is what I have done so far:

  1. Installed Steam in a Windows 7 bottle 64 bit. It has to be a 64 Bit bottle or you get the error: “The game you are installing requires a 64-bit version of Windows.”
  2. add an entry to the configuration file for steam to download the game. (https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=45329)
  3. Tried installing DirectX, Microsoft Visual C, and .net.

When I try to play the game on Steam it says "running," and then "syncing," but nothing happens and the game does not start.
