Since upgrading to CrossOver 20 Mac, Intego Internet Security (VirusBarrier 10.9.32) has been reporting /trojan/TR/Dropper.Ge in msxml.dll, msxml2.dll and webmprox.dll on all installed/upgraded bottles and trojan/TR/Crypt.XPACK.Ge is being reported in ipconfig.exe.
Anyone know what is going on here?
AVG, MalwareBytes, Sophos and VirusBarrier Scanner have all updated their databases that this is a false report and they have all corrected the error. Should Intego does not correct the error, and trust me they have been advised, it is time for a an AV-Malware app change. THERE IS NO PROBLEM with CrossOver 20 or 19 regarding Malware or virus.
Any time we have things like this it is good to check Virus Total

You can simply get a hash of the file and submit it here to see which AV vendors classify this as malware and which do not.
How to do this:
