Quicken 2013 can't download transactions after upgrade to Crossover 12.1.1

Just upgraded to CO 12.1.1
Now Quicken can't download transactions.
Quicken's error log tells me Quicken is unable to establish internet connection.
CO's version of Internert explorer run fine.
Why can I update my Quicken transactions?
This is the entire reason I bought CO.

Chase support told me to disable online services and reenable them

No luck.

Hep Me!

You're the second user who has reported this specific issue (Quicken 2013 + Crossover 12.1 + Chase bank = fail). The other user who reported the same informed us that dropping back down to Crossover 12.0 allowed him to connect to his accounts, again.

You can drop back to Crossover 12.0 by first closing Crossover, and then deleting the current install of Crossover 12.1 by following step 5 (only!) at this page:

http://www.codeweavers.com/support/wiki/mac/mactutorial/uninstall

[thanks for pointing out the error, kevin]

Then, download and install Crossover 12.0 from your My Downloads>Archived Downloads page on our website:

http://www.codeweavers.com/account/downloads/?_dl=archive

If you only followed Step 5, your Quicken install should still be intact, and (if your problem is indeed the same as the other report) you should find that your account connects, again.

I would also ask you, and any other user experiencing this same issue, to send in a support ticket

http://www.codeweavers.com/support/tickets/enter/

and ask to be put on bug 10514 so that we can track you.

Thanks!

Thank you. I had the same problem and reverting back to 12.0 worked for me

btw I think the directions to remove Crossover without removing Quicken are at this link:

http://www.codeweavers.com/support/wiki/mac/mactutorial/uninstall

and not the one listed to remove bottles 😉

Make it three. I have the same issue with 12.1.1, Quicken 2013 and Chase. Any fix other than to revert to an earlier release?

Actually, CrossOver 12.1.2 is going through final beta right now and has a fix for this issue. It should be released in the next two days... not sure if you're willing to wait that long.

If not, write in to Support and ask for early access to the release.
