Programming to create executables through crossovers?

I'm working on a C++ app in windows which users also work on OSX with through crossovers. I've added code specifically for OSX that will create a .command file which is executed by a ShellExecute(). The issue I continually run into is that this created file does not have permissions to run. I attempted to use the chmod() in the code, which does not work when the program creates the file on the Mac system. Is there a solution to change the permissions programmatically?

When you're in this deep of stretch, I think you need a support ticket, not the forums. If there is anything for what you need, which I doubt, it'll go through a support ticket anyway.

Good luck with that chmod thing...
