I'm confused. CrossOver doesn't run the Windows OS, only Windows applications.
There's the "Bottle type" setting which controls the Windows version reported to applications, but that's configurable. There's no reason to set it to something different on different machines.
Check the keyboard settings on both Macs and be sure they are set up the same. The default setting actually has the Function keys performing other actions and you have to change it to make them default to F1-F12 without using the Fn key.
Sorry... had a complete mental breakdown, apparently, and the issue is in Parallels, not CrossOver. I guess I can't keep my virtualization platforms straight.
That's OK, if Crossover was virtualisation platform, which it isn't!
