How are you trying to access the file? Is this during a software install, where you point CrossOver's software installer at an installer file located on a flash drive? Or is this while you are running a Windows application and try to open a file on the flash drive from there?
(Is CrossOver itself really crashing, or do you actually mean that the Windows applications themselves crash?)
I'm trying to access a file from within a Windows application.
Just the application crashes. CrossOver remains and shows the "bottles" screen.
And the very same file works if you copy it to your hard drive first and then open it in the same way from there?
Please Note: This Forum is for non-application specific questions relating to installation/configuration of CrossOver. All application-specific posts to this Forum will be moved to their appropriate Compatibility Center Forum.
