Just got FSX steam installed, but now when I launch the game via crossover, it gets stuck on the splash screen/first loading screen! Nothing happens! Help!

Just got FSX steam installed, but now when I launch the game via crossover, it gets stuck on the splash screen/first loading screen! Nothing happens! Help!

I have got FSX (Steam Edition) working in Crossover, but it can be problematical. See the Flight Simulator X:Steam edition tricks and tips for how to install and run. I had to carry out a complete reinstall of FSX to get it to run on Crossover 15, but it ran flawlessly on Crossover 14.
Use the legacy video driver and set a virtual desktop (in Wine configuration) and you should be able to see any error dialogues. They don't always appear using the Mac driver.
