When I try to create project in source insight,I press "project" tab->"New Project",
and browse the source code files which located in remote samba server,
I noticed that it costs around more than 30 secs (maybe longer time) to see the files.
It seems like this issue has nothing to do with the samba server. due to I browse the files
via Finder, the I did not see this issue there, therefore I am believing this issue may be related to
crossover itself (In fact , I have same issue when I installed source insight via wineskin before).
To use source insight on Mac is my strong reason to keep crossover.
Any comments to walk around this issue?
This could be caused by a number of things include dns issues and samba configuration.
A missing master browser on the network is a common issue and can cause slow share lookups.
If said samba server is the only server then verify it is setup as master browser as this will probably solve your issue.
Do you have the same issues when connecting from your Mac?
