I downloaded the trial. The only application that I need to run is Quicken 2009. Once I installed it and started to run it, the first thing it does is want me to create or load a set of datafiles. I have existing Quicken data that I want to use. That data is in a sub folder in my mac home folder. I'd like to point quicken to that folder for the data... I need to keep it there because that folder is synced to my other machine which would allow me to access it from either. In any case I can't seem to navigate to that folder within the bottle. How does Crossover handle accessing mac folders from within the bottle, or visa-versa?
Your mac home drive should show up as a drive letter you can access. If it does not, you can go into the crossover menu under Configure > Manage Bottles, select the bottle, go to the "Control Panel" tab, then launch winecfg. From that GUI there is a tab called "Drives" where you can point drives within the bottle to different spots on your Mac.
