I'm running the 30 day demo version of Crossover Mac. So far I'm very impressed but I've got a nagging problem. How do I disable the automatic running of the Windows Installer? Every time I plug in a device (my Palm phone, Gramin GPS, USB geek-sticks) the *&^%$ Windows Installer in Crossover pops up. How do I disable this thing? I expect that kind of behavior on a real Windows system, but not on my Mac where I'd rather manually select the Windows Installer if that's what I want to do.
Not sure if this is what you're looking for but Preferences -> System Integration under Removable volume behavior, tick the Ignore CD and DVD insertion?
I'd also un-tick "Always open windows CD's and DVD's with Crossover". Do these changes solve the problem?
The CD and DVD options were already disabled and it didn't seem to help. I still get the Windows Installer activation when I plug in USB devices that have memory - Palm, GPS, USB disks/sticks. Very annoying.
