using cross over in an open directory environment

hey all

here is my question
I running between 60-70 mac, but the problem is we need to use IE6 in order to run some of the software we use, but we are working in the mac open directory environment, where all are files and setting live on the server. We have tried the one or two tricks we would normal use to run software off the local disk, but its not working with crossover.

now can anyone help us or know of a way to make it work?

got to love windows only software

In theory this sort of thing should work, but it will be painfully slow on account of wine's file-access eccentricities. What do you by "it's not working"? What are these tricks that you've tried?
