Outlook plugins - Clearcontext

I am trying to use an Outlook plugin - ClearContext (http://www.clearcontext.com/)

The installation runs fine but the first time I start outlook i get an error message:
"Unable to obtain active datastore" which seems to originate from ClearContext.
I have searched on their support site and I got this

which basically says I need to clear these two entries in registry:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ClearContext\ClearMail\AppDatastore]
and
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ClearContext\ClearMail\TopicFolderLocation]
which i have checked and they dont exist.

I am guessing different plugins have different requirements, but are there any guidelines on plugin installation and Clearcontext in particular?
