I downloaded the trial for the games crossover and it runs just fine. I downloaded this one because I wanted to try out a game. Will the regular version run games as well as programs?

We didn't put any special effort into making games NOT run, so yeah, your game may work. However, we don't test games with regular crossover, and if you run into problems we do not offer support. There are also no installation profiles, so you'll have to install the games cxgames supports as unsupported apps.
Note that CrossOver Pro includes a license for cxgames as well. They're separate installs for technical reasons, but you get a license for both.
