Question About Trial Limitation

Hi everyone!

Just heard about Crossover, and it looks like a really great software.

The only reason I want this is to install a comic collection Software (BDGest). Si I donwloaded Crossover, Install the Software, everything works fine. Unfortanely, I can't after that Open the collection.mdb file or create a new one (it's the file where all the info on the comic collection is kept). So I was windering if the demo version as some kind of limitation. I'm pretty sure there isn't any limitation, but just wanna check!

Thanks!

PS - By the way, I don't need acess to open the file, I know that for a fact.

You are right - the demo versions are just time limited, not
functionally 'crippled' in any way.

As for the problem you're seeing, the software might require
something else to work - for example, all windows software can
expect (reliably so) that some sort of InternetExplorer is
installed (being a standard part of windows OS) ; if this were
the case, you can install IE into the same bottle you installed
'BDGest' into to replicate the windows situation.

Note I'm -not- saying installing IE will be your 'fix' - it's
just a rough outline of what you may have to do to get BDGest
working in crossover.. (;

Cheers!

Thanks a lot!

That's exactly what I was thinking. I just contacted the creator of BDGEST to know what Windows component are needed to run the app.

Thank you very much once again Don!
