hi. I was having trouble with an unsupported app, so I took the advice to try different windows types for the bottle. I went into winecfg and changed the type to 2000, no good. then I thought I'd try 3.1. Well, I didnt't really expect it to work, but I figured I could just change it back to xp after I tried. but I get recurring MSVCRT.DLL error messages. Of course they are not valid win32. Bit I can't run winecfg to change the type back to xp. So I can't run any of my bottled programs.
Forgive me if I missed something in a previous ticket. I did check. I am hoping that you will be able to direct me to a config file on the Hard Drive that I can adjust. I would hate to have to reinstall the software again.
Scratch it! I found an entry in User.reg that I changed from win31 to winxp. all is well in that realm.
