Can't Aim

Hi, mm.. you know that the mouse of mac have button in its sides.
When i'm aiming in Team Fortress 2 (With Ambassador and Sniper) it changes to other weapon.
How can i unbind that buttons? please?

I want the button (button side) do nothing!.

Thanks

I highly recommend to buy a normal PC mouse for playing TF2. The one button Mac mouse with the sometimes-working, sometimes-failing 2nd button emulation doesn't work well enough for any game that needs a 2nd button.

There's no way to configure what the side buttons do in CrossOver itself. We just forward the button presses we get from MacOS to the game. The Mac mouse control dialog in the system settings might have something to change the behavior.

Hmm. Actually, the side buttons may get mapped to scroll wheel events due to the strange X11 underpinnings of CrossOver. In X11, scroll wheel events are represented as "presses" of virtual buttons, one for scroll up and another for scroll down. Mac OS X is reporting the side buttons as button 4 (after left, right, middle). CrossOver is blindly generating an X11 button press event with that button ID. It so happens that ID 4 is what's assigned to one of the scroll wheel events. So, the side buttons happen to generate the same event as scrolling, which would cause the symptoms being described.

The Keyboard & Mouse pane of System Preferences does let you reassign the functionality of those side buttons. Personally, I have them set to do nothing, which is probably why I never noticed this problem.

Thank you very much, but, i think that can you fix that? because, it's boring to change and change that settings.

Thx you.

Yeah, I'll see what I can do about fixing that.

Thank you very much

This should be fixed in the next release of CrossOver.

Ohhhh Thanks you very much!
