In order to use the Preview feature in Outlook 2007 do I have to install the complete Office 2007? I'd rather not as I use Mac office 2008 for everything except for email and PIM and I'd prefer to not have to buy a license just to have the preview function.
Also is their a PDF previewer I can install. Thanks for your help!
I don't really understand what you're trying to get out of Outlook 2007 & Mac Office 2008, but I do know the 'Preview' app on your Mac can open and display PDF files.
Thanks for your reply. I'm not referring to the Mac program "Preview" but an internal feature of Outlook that allows that user to quickly preview WITHIN Outlook Word, Excel, and Powerpoint docs and there is also a plug in for pdfs.
Crossover will open any pdf or word docs nicely but that requires starting the program and then the doc opens in a new window.
Probably most people who use Outlook on Crossover install the whole Office 2007. I'd prefer to not do that since I already own a license for Office Mac 2008 and just Outlook 2007 on the Windows side.
