Programs list appearing and disappearing

Hi,

Using 14.1.6 - installed Payday 2, and thought, "Hey this works great!", but never actually got an icon in the programs list for Payday 2 - only for Steam itself.

I installed .net 2.0 and suddenly the Apps list of all my games appeared.

They all seemed to be working fine (except for Unreal Tournament 3), so I renamed the bottle from "Payday 2" (which Crossover did by default) to "Steam" and suddenly all my lovely icons vanished - even the Steam one.

Tried "Refresh programs" in the menu, but nothing.

Tried trashing the ~/Applications folder, and the refresh option again, and still nothing, and it won't rebuild that folder.

Any ideas?

Have you updated your copy of Crossover? I think build 15.0 has been released. Maybe that will solve the problem? I used to face the same issue.
Hope that helps,

  • Jasper

I had same issues with all of my bottles. Since upgrading to version 15.0, all new bottles now create application icons, but my existing still did not have icons. I attempted to refresh the apps to no avail and then found that if I duplicate the bottles, the duplicated bottles now have the application icons. I have duplicated all of my existing bottles with new names and then removed the old instances.
