V.16.0.0 Upgrade and Hardware 3D Acceleration
I am using Crossover to run Neverwinter Nights 2 on my iMac (Sierra OS X, V.10.12.1). Everything has been working fine with Crossover V.15.3.1, but now I'm getting a pop-up message that reads "Hardware 3D acceleration appears to be disabled. If your video card supports hardware 3D acceleration, then please make sure that it's enabled."
I have no idea how to do that. Can anyone help out with some tips? I'm not very tech-savvy with this Cx/Wine stuff so a detailed walkthrough would be appreciated.
Also, in case needed, can someone tell me how to roll back to Cx V.15.3.1? I downloaded the archived file but when I try installing it, it's still trying to run V.16.0.0 which isn't functioning at all due to the "3D acceleration" problem. Can someone tell me how to delete V.16.0.0 so I can reinstall V.15.3.1? Do I just drag the application to the trash and then reinstall V.15.3.1? I'm hesitant to start messing with thing because there seem to be a lot of files hidden in the background.
Thanks for your help. I'd really like to get back to playing my game! - Kurt
there's some help here
but I find a reinstall of the game works best.
