I have downloaded BepInEx 6.0, Copied the unzipped BepInEx files in to the root folder of Dinkum. It says to launch the game, then quit the game then go to the BepInEx folder inside the root folder of Dinkum. At this point it should have created a plugin folder to add the .dll mod files. The issue I am having I believe is CrossOver is not allowing or recognizing the added BepInEx files so it is not running the script. Anyone having success adding Mods to Dinkum?
Go to crossover, download steam if you haven't. Once installed, click on "Steam" under the bottles on the left. Then click on "Wine Configuration" -> "Libraries" tab -> Under "New override for library" select "winhttp" and add. Make sure it says, winhttp (native, builtin). -> Save Changes
Download your mod, go to the folder where your game is installed.
For Dinkum it should be located here: ~/Library/Application Support/CrossOver/Bottles/Steam/drive_c/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Dinkum. Other games should be in a similar path.
Extract the zip from step 1, copy all the files to the folder from step 3.
Run the game.
Check this location ~/Library/Application Support/CrossOver/Bottles/Steam/drive_c/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Dinkum/BepInEx. Initially there's only the "core" folder. You should see more after running the game. If you are not then you are doing something wrong.
Stop the game and download your mod, copy the .dll file to
~/Library/Application Support/CrossOver/Bottles/Steam/drive_c/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Dinkum/BepInEx/plugins
Run the game, and go to ~/Library/Application Support/CrossOver/Bottles/Steam/drive_c/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Dinkum/BepInEx/config
You should see the corresponding .cfg file being generated for your mod, provided that your mod is supposed to have one. The rest of it is the same as windows, so you can follow instructions on nexusmods or bepinex's websites.
