I recently switched from a PC to a Mac as my main desktop machine, and I was very disappointed to learn that Half Life 2 / Team Fortress 2 was not available for OS X!

Then I heard about this product, and amazingly it works perfectly! Great job on the product.

Given my good experience with getting HL2 to work on OS X, I immediately paid for the full version of the software.

However, it seems there is a problem. Every time I try to register the CrossOver product, it gets stuck on the 'connecting' dialog window after I key in my user name / password.

I don't want the trial software to expire, what could the issue be?

There are several possibilities, the most common...

Are you attempting to go through a firewall? This could be interfering.

Can you archive the bottle that has HL2 installed in it? If so, do this, then completely trash the 'demo' version of CrossOver using the instructions here:
http://www.codeweavers.com/support/docs/crossover-games-mac/faq#id2501207 (using number 1.2 to remove CrossOver Games completely)

It is also possible that it is just taking exceptionally long for the registration to come back. We have had it reported to take up to fifteen minutes (although the longest we have clocked it in-house it about five minutes).
