How to install an unsupported app which has no installer (just the program exe)

I want to install a little freeware called fret.exe, which is a program that can show chords for various music instruments. This program comes just as fret.exe without any installer. How can I install this program into crossover?
You can find the program fret at: http://cbom.free.fr/documents/Fret.exe
I'd be very happy if someone could help me to solve this problem.

All the best

Frank

You can just run it by opening it from your Mac/Linux file browser

If I doubleclick the application crossover opens, but fret does not open. What am I doing wrong?

I tried out this program, doesn't run in Crossover. Nothing special is probably going to get it working short of somebody programming for it on winehq.org.

Please Note: This Forum is for non-application specific questions relating to installation/configuration of CrossOver. All application-specific posts to this Forum will be moved to their appropriate Compatibility Center Forum.
