after running steam and copying over the steam files to fix the steal.exe / .dll running fix
it run get to updating bar, then quickly goes to a menu saying " unable to connect to steam network, offline mode in unable because there is no there steam login info on this computer.
you will not be able to use steam, until your able to connect to the steam network.
but i know the steam network is up i checked it on a windows pc
Do you have any firewall? A few users had issues with a software called PeerGuardian.
got it working thanks it was a network issue
